WRITTEN 02/05/24

This was our first full week of ministry! we started the week off with an ATL day in Manzini (the main city). ATL stands for ask the Lord and it is one of our ministry days where we go to the city and ask the Lord what he wants us to do that day or who he wants us to talk to. Lead by the Holy Spirit, we create relationships with the people there, opening doors to evangelize. We got to pray with some people we met and in particular got to pray over a muslim and the mosque. On Tuesday through Friday we do care point ministry. Care points are different centers in different towns that are safe places for kids to come after school to get food, play, & hear about God’s word. There is a preschool there that we have had the opportunity to help teach and help out. Our days consist of playing with and loving on the kids there, helping the gogo’s (Siswati for grandmother) by cooking or sewing and doing a devotional with them, and uplifting and encouraging the Shepard there (the leader of the care point). We do devotional with the ladies who cook the meals in the morning and share a verse or encouragement that has meant something to us. God is already moving in us and in the people here! We are so excited for next week!
